Results: The analytic results reveal that job stress and self-efficacy have influence on burnout of psychiatric nurses. Conclusion: These analytic results in our research indicate that ``burnout``, ``job stress`` and ``self-efficacy`` have the significant positive correlations; The higher job stress has, the higher burnout becomes, whereas the lower self-efficacy becomes. The higher self-efficacy has, the lower burnout becomes. High job stress and low self-efficacy aggravate burnout.
